Hi, I have a old Supermicro server with X7DB8 motherboard and 46G RAM. there is the thing very wired. I tried to install Proxmox it was stuck "waiting for /dev to be fully populated" see picture 1 . I also follow the thread "https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/s...l-with-dev-to-be-fully-populated-error.20211/". But I am not sure where to press"e". I did press "e" from the page with USB boot Proxmox page (picture 2 ), and add nomodeset at linunx kirnel, ctrl+x, it still stuck. I also fond the memory the system detect is wrong, but from bios I can see it's 46G.

Can someone help. Appreciate.

I'm also having this issue, did anyone get anywhere with this? The fact this thread is dead and not updated by OP or anyone tells me this is a bad situation that is still unsolved.

Thanks

FIX:
Press "E" in the Install screen and then add to the line "linux" -> nomodeset
