Hi,

I want import a exported vm from ganeti with kvm to Proxmox VE 4.
So i export the vm via gnt-backup export from ganeti and transfer the disk image to the proxmox host.
Then i create a new vm with a raw disk in Proxmox VE and change the disk to the exported disk from ganeti.
I start the vm and Proxmox say "not bootable disk found".
What is the Problem, it is a raw disk from one kvm to another kvm host.
Had someone the problem ever and can help me.

Thanks in advance

Hello Dietmar,

This is the config, if i have checkt the disk with "qemu-img info" i have renamed the diskname from "b9af6c61-200a-400f-8a87-56405fd6161c.disk0_data.snap" to "vm-105-disk-1.raw".

bootdisk: virtio0
cores: 1
ide2: none,media=cdrom
memory: 1024
name: Test
net0: virtio=66:64:38:31:65:33,bridge=vmbr0
numa: 0
ostype: l26
smbios1: uuid=35c71b1f-079f-4d50-9b54-7272c4952ded
sockets: 1
virtio0: local:105/vm-105-disk-1.raw,cache=writeback,size=2311840K

and here the output of qemu-img info

qemu-img info b9af6c61-200a-400f-8a87-56405fd6161c.disk0_data.snap
