If you are unsure why 'proxmox-ve' would be removed.....

Install is Proxmox on top of Debian. It's been working great since the initial install back in October of 2020. I've done at least one update since then and everything has been good. But, now......

When trying to upgrade through WebGUI, or when trying to apt dist-upgrade, I get the dreaded multi-line message about removing Proxmox. I can't find anything through google or any kind of searching that has helped me yet, so maybe my googling and/or search skills are diminishing,

My details:

Kernel Version Linux 5.4.78-2-pve #1 SMP PVE 5.4.78-2 (Thu, 03 Dec 2020 14:26:17 +0100)

PVE Manager Version pve-manager/6.3-3/eee5f901

/etc/apt/sources.list:

remove all debian kernel
there are dependencies (firmware iirc) that trigger the removal of pve

I ran apt autoremove then ran apt dist-upgrade and everything is back to normal!
