HP Storage wird nicht von aktuellem Kernel erkannt

Hallo Proxmox Community,

Ich habe an einem meiner Server ein Festplatten Storage von HP.
Unter Kernel Version 4.13.13-6 wird das Storage noch erkannt. Wenn ich einen neueren Kernel benutze, wird es niht erkannt udn es kommt zu boot problemen beim Server.
Kennt ihr einen weg das Problem zu lösen?
 
Wie ist das Storage angebunden?
Was steht im `dmesg` bzw. journal ?

(Koennte durchaus auch ein Zusammenspiel zw. neuerem Kernelmodul und alter Firmware auf dem Controller sein)
 
Das Storage ist eine HE unter dem Server und mit einem Verbiungskabel verbunden.
Ich glaub auch das es das Zusammenspiel von Firmware und Kernel.
Kann man die Firmware vom System heraus updaten?
 
Ja denke mal ist ein raid Controller mit externen das Port. Sag mal Typ kann dir das erklären oder auch machen
 
HP Storage Works MSA 50 mit Smart Array P800 controller.
Hast du ein gutes Tutorial bzw Erklärung?
Ich würde es selbst machen,.
 
Danke. Ich hab mir das iso mal angeschaut und leiders stand in der readme , das es den P800 controller nicht unterstützt
