So I installed a vz from cli . and installed a kvm from pve .

I know that after hitting send I'll see how to do this,

but where is the screen to start the vm's?

i hope i can delete this after pressing Submit New thread.

and from cli they exist:
Code:
root@fbc158 /var/lib/vz/private # ls /var/lib/vz/private/3010
bin boot dev etc fastboot home lib media mnt opt proc root sbin selinux srv sys tmp usr var

Code:
root@fbc158 /var/lib/vz/images # ls -l /var/lib/vz/images/3001
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 8589934592 Sep 30 18:11 vm-3001-disk-1.raw

and I was right , they showed up. Is there a lag after creating the vm's before they show up?

I saw that wiki page and recheck as the pages are getting updated often - thanks.

the issue was that I did not see the kvm or containers on the pve screen.

there could have been a lag for the data to get there, or I did not press the '+' to the left of the node name.

I'll add another vz and see if it gets to the list right away.

I added and it showed up.

so I must not have pressed the + key to the left of the node name.

ok I just added a new kvm and had the same issue - it did not show on the pve page. I tried refresh, clicking around and got it to show up after doing
Code:
 /etc/init.d/pvedaemon restart
this it showed up with the other 10 kvm/containers

If there is anything I can do to supply more info let me know, I'll check logs next time.

this was using firefox 3.6.23 .

can you test/validate this issue with a more modern browser? (e.g. Firefox 6 or higher, Chrome 13 or higher)?

Hello,

My server was up for 3 month! now, today when I was installing bugzilla, the CT virtual machine suddenly stopped! When I click on start, it says
Starting container ...
Container is mounted
Setting CPU units: 1000
Setting CPUs: 1
Configure veth devices: veth101.0
Adding interface veth101.0 to bridge vmbr0 on CT0 for CT101
Killing container ...
Unable to start init, probably incorrect template
Container start failed
Container was stopped
Container is unmounted
TASK ERROR: command 'vzctl start 101' failed: exit code 47

Can anyone help? everything is down because of this:(

no double posts please and no thread hi-jacking - new issue => open new thread.
