How to migrate from 3.4 to 4.2

Hi,
i have an old Debian Wheezy single Proxmox in Version 3.4-13 (3.10.0-1-pve). I have a few KVM VMs on it. I now setup a new Machine with Proxmox VE 4.2. The Question is how can i migrate the VMS from old 3.4 to new 4.2?

An other idea. Can i make a 2 node cluster with old 3x und 4x and simple switch over to the 4x?

You can try with shared storage you can copy (please test!) the vm nodes config to the new cluster and check if the nodes are working ok.
