Hi there,

I'm testing PMG (no license yet) as a replacement for our Barracuda spam filter. In Barracuda, I would create a domain and specify the destination mail server on port 25. Easy and done.

How do I add domains and specify the destination email server in PMG? I don't see an interface for adding domains.

Thanks
G

I figured it out.

- Under Configuration > Mail Proxy > Relaying: Add Primary destination mail server under Default Relay (you can only have one)
- For any domain with email hosted on the Default Relay, you then just need to add that domain under Relay Domains
- For domains with email hosted on other email servers, you need to do two things:
-- Add that domain under Relay Domains
-- Add that domain name to: Relay Domain field
-- Add Host domain which is the domain name of the destination email server
-- Port 25
-- Enable Use MX.

Done.

The way Barracuda does it would be easier and I recommend that Proxmox try and emulate Barracuda where ever possible. They have a great spam filter but it's very expensive.
