how passthrough a pve partiton to vm

qm set 102 -scsi0 /dev/disk/by-id/ata-UD-S325MIN-M01T5_RMIC16020203-part4
the part4 is sda4 744G to the 102 vm,but in the vm the disk is the 1T(the hole of the pve sda).
why??
