Hello Friends of proxmox and thanks for good work.

I am using proxmox 3.1 on Lenovo M93p Tiny with a i5 i works good. Now i want to test the Beta 3.2 with the new kernel. Hope for support on Haswell CPU and other good things.

My Problem is that nothing happens.

First i change my /etc/apt/sources.list to

# PVE pve-no-subscription repository provided by proxmox.com, NOT recommended for production use
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian wheezy pve-no-subscription
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian wheezy main contrib
# PVE pvetest repository provided by proxmox.com
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian wheezy pvetest
# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org/ wheezy/updates main contrib

and in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/pve-enterprise.list

# deb https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian wheezy pve-enterprise

but when i use apt-get and apt-get dist-upgrade

nothing happened. It end with

root@proxmox:~# apt-get update

you run latest packages. the version number is still 3.1 but almost all functionality scheduled for 3.2 is already there.

Hi Tom and thanks for your response.

But what ist with the new functions like the new 3.1 kernel and Open vSwitch.

how can i install/test it ?

Thanks Bernd

if you want to test the 3.10 kernel, just run:

apt-get install pve-kernel-3.10.0.1-pve

Open vSwitch: Click on your node, then go to the "network" tab and click "create".
