Hi,

I've been using Proxmox for 2 years now and am extremely happy.

I am currently running Proxmox on a X570 with a 2400G and it's working fine. However as my needs have increased I found a good deal on a H560M and i5 11400. I did the replacement today and set up the BIOS as needed (virtualization on etc.). After boot the screen seems to get stuck at Loading Initial Ramdisk. The HDD is showing good activity so it means that the system is booting but I can't see anything on the screen.

Also since the interface assignments have changed I can't log into the system to change the interface assignments such as enp5s0 etc........

Please help since the new parts are just sitting there. I've put the old motherboard and CPU back in commission and all seems fine now, but I want to switch over to the new platform.

Is it because the 11th gen is too new?

Please help.

Grub or systemd-boot? On the boot screen go into edit mode and provide a screenshot of the whole command shown there.
