error unknown file system
entering rescue mode
grub rescue>

Hello, I started getting this error after my dell r710 server lost power and a hdd in the raid 10 needed to be rebuilt.

I rebuilt the raid and still.got the same error.message.
I tried to reinstall grub from the grub rescue prompt but I could not make it work from the other Google examples I could find online that did not relate to proxmox exactly.

What is the best way to recover from this error message?

Check if supergrub (iso) disk is booting.

if your /boot is on that raid, make sure your raid controller has all disks that are part of the raid marked as "boot devices" or something like this. in the grub rescue prompt you should see entries for each disk in the raid when you do an "ls"
