The last couple of days and hours I have been trying to install proxmox on my Dell R720.
I tried installing it in BIOS/UEFI mode even switched SSD's but nothing seems to work as it is unbootable according to iDrac...
I have created multiple bootable USB's with Rufus (yes in DD mode) and Etcher but both seem to fail for some reason.
I did some reinstalls in debug mode and in UEFI mode I do see the 'bootable parameters' via efibootmgr -v.
Still I cannot boot Proxmox.
Bios mode the same, cannot boot Proxmox. It just wont pop-up and I have no idea what it can be...
Now trying it with Debian Buster and everything seems to work normal, how can it be that proxmox does not boot while Debian does with the same configuration settings?
I think a serious overhaul of the whole boot process should be needed, as I already see multiple topics coming up about this. ESXi and XCP-NG have no problems as well, it still seems to be with Proxmox.
I forgot to mention, I also tried this with Proxmox 6.4-1.iso.
EDIT: Fixed it, apparently having the BIOS configured to use UEFI mode and the install using legacy mode works for some magical reason...
