Hope someone might have a solution to this.

I'm trying to install Freenas on a brand new baremetal Proxmox 6.2-4 server. Freenas version FreeNAS-11.3-U3.1.

So I have no issues setting up vm and running the installation of Freenas, it's when the installation is finished and reboots it just boots into the installation again.

I've tried deleting vm, creating a new vm, re-installing multiple times, but I always boot back into Freenas installation as if the installation media is not removed. If I run installation after reboot it even gives me the opton of upgrading or fresh install.

I'm sure I'm just missing something small here.

Try to remove ISO image after install you can do this from GUI go to Your Node -> VM<FreeNAS> -> Hardware -> CD/DVD Drive -> Remove

Then start the vm
