Fixed size storage for VM

Is it possible to allocate all the disk space that I defined in the setup of the VM? As currently I see it is all dynamic and to a person coming from VMware I could chose to allocate disk space dynamically or fixed. Would that be possible with ProxMox as well?

You have to use a storage backend that does not support thin-provisioning (e.g. LVM (not lvm-thin) or a ZFS pool with thin provisioning turned off in the settings).
