File-Type Filterung

Hello

We use ProxMox to filter all images and executable files from the messages. (.jpeg, .exe, ...)

Now, we have see, that when you rename a picture to ".doc", then it will not be filtered out.

Have you a solution possible for the "File-Type Filterung":
(option to examine the file and make an educated decision as to the file's type. ex. filter executable files, image files, music files, and movie files).

Hi Gustav,

We use magic byte for content type detection, so if you rename a picture file to *.doc Proxmox still knows that it is a picture.

Please download this hotfix to solve this issue.

Go to the admin interface via webbrowser , Administration/Server/Updates and upload the hotfix to your Proxmox. You need already 1.7.
