Hi,
since you can see people recommending the vmware display for use in KVM everywhere over std since its supposed to be not quite as painfully slow, I wanted to give it a try.
I switched the display to vmware, booted the machine, inserted a fairly recent vmware tools iso I found laying around and installed the WDDM display drivers from it. Im testing this on a windows 2008 r2 standard server (amd64) by the way.
However after one of windows' awesome driver related reboots, the device only shows "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".
Has anybody tried this before? I understand this should be working...
