esxi nested for school test

Hi all,

I'm trying this configurations and can't find my answer :
windows 2022 will be my machine to control esxi/vsphere virtio network
esxi1 and 2 vmxnet3 card

All three are in vmbr30
i can ping from windows2022 to the ip of vmbr30
i can ping from esxi1 to 2 but no ping to windows2022 or vmbr30

when i tried tcpdump -i tap150i0 (esxi1 for example) -vv arp
I see the arp request but no arp reply

i tried to enable promiscuous mode on vSwitch0 but not working for now
I see packet coming on vmnic0 for every ping but no reply

Hi,

Seems like there are some issues with vmnetx3 in Proxmox 8.1

Alternative Solution:
1. Access it from the “Outside World”, you can do same subnet device but from outside of Proxmox.
2. Install something inside the VMware that you can use to remote inside.
