Hi,

I try to install Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise from ISO on Proxmox VE 2.0, but it fails. When I access console I see the error "No bootable device". So, I checked the hardware of the VM. I see my VM didn't have CD/DVD drive, although I added it. I also created Windows 7 VM, but I still didn't see CD/DVD drive.

Please help me to fix it. Thanks a lot,

My server info:
CPU: 8 x Intel Xeon L5420 2,5GHz
RAML 16GB
PVE manager version: 2.0-54/4b59ea39

1. Add CD/DVD Drive with no ISO
Can you see the drive?

2. Replace space with _ in your ISO
Will this work?

3. edit /etc/pve/qemu-server/101.conf from CLI
add: ide0: cdrom,media=cdrom

I think it is the space in the ISO name

Thanks in advance,

You're right, because of spaces of ISO path.
