I have a storage pool that is encrypted and want to unlock it at boot time - this is working fine by using the example from Arch: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/ZFS#Unlock_at_boot_time

But how to modify this service file to request unlocking before Proxmox starts attempting to start VM's etc? Basically I need to add an extra "Before" line in the service file, but I don't know which service file to put there.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
I think putting pvedaemon.service there should work. Otherwise try pve-cluster.service, which is a bit earlier in the chain.
