Is there a simple means of disabling the mouse entirely for a Windows 10 VM? I am connecting to my VM via a 3rd party remote protocol and I want to test the 3rd party's mouse driver (HP RGS).
From what I can gather, the default mouse used by the Proxmox console appears as a PS2 Device. The vmouse I wish to use appears as an HID Compliant Device and the driver can't be applied to the Proxmox mouse.
Any help would be appreciated. I have tried switching to different drivers on the Proxmox mouse (used the vmware tools mouse driver as well) and have yet to get it to play nicely with RGS, so my next plan of attack is to get rid of the Proxmox (noVNC?) mouse entirely and see how that pans out.
