Good day:).

What is the difference between guestfsd and qemu-guest-agent?

I've read all the articles on the Internet that I could find (for example:
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/qemu-devel/2014-10/msg03677.html
https://www.redhat.com/archives/libguestfs/2012-May/msg00039.html
http://wiki.qemu.org/Features/QAPI/GuestAgent
), but could not find out for yourself:

1. Do they interfere with the work of each other?
2. Can they be installed on one virtual machine at the same time and work simultaneously?

With gratitude, pantdm.

I have conducted practical experiments. Both demon working at the same time, how correctly to figure out does not work. By studying the available RedHat documentation come to the conclusion that the guestfsd daemon unnecessary. Correct me if I'm wrong and mistaken.

Sincerely, Dmitry.
