Dear Members,

there is a cluster with 3 nodes with the following hw configuration:
- Dell R730
- PERC H730 raid controller
- 256GB RAM
- 4 x 1.9TB 12Gb SAS SSD for OSDs
- 2 x 4TB 6Gb SAS HDD for OSDs
- 2 x 800GB 12Gb SAS SSD for DB/WAL disk.

Raid controller is working in HBA mode.
In this mode we will get 6 OSDs (each disk for 1 OSD) and 2 pools (separated crush map rules for SSDs and HDDs)

What is the recommended storage configuration for DB/WAL disks?
One of 800GB SSD should be used for SSD-OSD as DB disk, and other 800GB SSD for HDD-OSD, or DB/WAL disk should we mirror?
If yes, we should use mirror, which array should we choose? LVM or zfs?
It would not be good to lose OSD in case of DB disk failure.

Thank you,
