We have 2 clusters

Cluster 1 and Cluster 2. Each has a separate volume on the SAN with its own LUN.

I just noticed Cluster 1 lvs showed Cluster 2 VM drives ie 2 vm-100-disk-1 on 2 different volumes. and When i tested and did lvremove - it killed the harddrive off and the 2nd cluster's vm failed ... this seems strange and also very dangerous ...

Using the same storage on 2 different clusters is simply not possible - don't do it!

No no they're not supposed to use the same storage. We have a SAN with 2 volumes - cluster1 and clsuter2. Each is a separate LUN

but the 2 nodes are connecting to both volumes and they are not writing to the one they shouldnt be but when i type LV they see the vms on both ... kinda scary. Only way i can get around this is i can take away access from the initiators but they still attempt to access adn then hang and get real slow.

Is there a way to force them to not talk to the other volumes
