Hi
- a colleague is installing PROXMOX for me on a cisco blade (in a UCS) with a FC lun as its boot disk and we're running into issues.

This is familiar as ESXi had the similar issues on UCS, we needed to load an FNIC storage driver to get it to boot, but I'm not 100% that this is the same issue and could really use an expert eye.

Behaviour:

Loading, please wait...
Volume group "pve" not found
Cannot process volume group pve
Unable to find LUM volume pve/root

[33.614497] rport-2:0-0: blocked FC remote port time out: removing rport
[33.742491] rport-3:0-0: blocked PC remote port time out: removing rport
[34.382486] rport-1:0-1: blocked FC remote port time out: removing rport

Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules: Is /dev)
-ALERT! ,dev/mapper/pve-root does not exist. Dropping to a shell!
Modprobe: module ehci-orion not found in modules.dep

BusyBox v1.22.1 (Debi.. 1:1.22.0-9.debBul) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for et list of built-in commands.
bin/sh: can't as tty: job control turned off
(initramfs) [34.766402] rport-0:0-0: blocked FC remote port time out: removing rport
(initramfs)

Hopefully there is an obvious answer?
