Changing automatic VMID assignment range?

Does anyone know how the automatic vmid's are assigned and perhaps how to change it?

We are trying to use a shared nfs server for backups across more than one proxmox clusters, which obviously creates an issue when one uses the automatic vmid assignments in proxmox - BOTH clusters have a vmid 100, with obviously different images, but for purposes of the Backup tab, they can not be differentiated. There are several solutions, and the simplest would be to just not assign the vm's out of the same range. However, it's rather convenient to use automatic vmid assignment via the "Create VM" or "Create CT" button, since you don't need to check for what's next available manually. The easiest solution would be to set the first cluster to start assigning vmid's at 100 and the second cluster to start assigning vmid's at 200. Can this be done? I've tried to research how to change the starting vmid number, but I can't find anything documenting where the vmid's are generated from, let alone how to change it.

Please use a different NFS shares for different clusters.

There is currently no ways to predefine the VMID range.

Hi,
you can also use different directories for each node - like define /backup as backup-storage and create /backup/dump as an link to "/mnt/nfsstore/pve1" on pve1 and to /mnt/nfsstore/pve2 on the next hosts...
