Hi there,

I have changed the hostname of my node and am experiencing an issue with the SSL certificate after the change, I am getting the error:

Jun 26 13:51:39 prmx0 pveproxy[1767]: /etc/pve/local/pve-ssl.key: failed to load local private key (key_file or key) at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/APIServer/AnyEvent.pm line 1891

I changed /etc/hosts, /etc/hostname and /etc/postfix/main.cf and copied the VM data to the new directory as required and have rebooted - I am now getting the above error. I tried to follow this guide as best as I could:
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/proxmox-node-name-change.14327/

How can I alter the SSL certificates now?

Thank you

/etc/pve/nodes now appears to be missing...

There is nothing in /etc/pve - have I screwed up?

Maybe time to test backup integrity...

Hi,

I second this...
Currently having the exact same issue... Does anybody have any idea? I dont want to have to reinstall this node...

Edit:
I first renamed the Nodes Hostname, then entered the cluster, generally its working, just sometimes I get SSL issue messages for a few seconds.
Its not like that with my other clustered nodes from another cluster.
