    Hi,

I want to ask what is the correct procedure to update ceph? Do I have to reboot node after update if yes is there any thing that I have to remember? I have read docs but I want to be sure. I am new to Proxmox environment so sorry for noob question.

    Hi,
    1. upgrade ceph on all nodes
    2. see here for mds (if you use cephfs) http://docs.ceph.com/docs/mimic/releases/luminous/
    3. restart ceph-mon node by node (control with "ceph versions").
    4. restart the only running mds if point 2 is in use
    5. restart all ceph-mgr (also one by one)
    6. restart each osd - wait before the next for an healthy cluster.

    done - without downtime
