I'm using HA cluster with CEPH for the storage.

I configured everything on the 3 nodes, (CEPH Server and Proxmox 4 HA Cluster) without any problems. My setup includes one SSD as dedicated SSD journal disk for in each OSD (one SATA drive) (one per hypervisor).

Now, I'm trying to test SSD cache tiering. Anybody knows how setup this configuration without lose data on cluster?

Thanks in advance.

we have 30drives and performance very degraded, that's why we chose replace all disk to ssd.
ceph is very stable system, I don't know what need do to kill ceph cluster.

Assume you have read the documentation http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/rados/operations/cache-tiering/ and http://docs.ceph.com/docs/master/ra...ap/#placing-different-pools-on-different-osds

I have used cache tiering, but that is on a standalone Ceph cluster with 0.94, but I have it disabled for now due to a bug which is supposed to be fixed in 0.94.7
I had no problem adding the tier to the running Ceph cluster, but I´m not sure if it is exactly the same when you run Ceph on the Proxmox nodes.
