Hi.
A bit of background..
We have 3 servers.
1 x 24 core 72Gb RAM HP - Main VM Server - Production Use
1 x 8 core 32Gb RAM HP. - Secondary VM server - Unimportant Production VM's
1 x 4 core 24Gb RAM HP - Tertiary VM server - Unimportant Test VM's
All with ProxMox
All servers reboot randomly. I have tested the RAM and all come back without error.
The PSUs are fine..
I have been reading about ARC cache or something similar. I attempted to customise the ZFS Arc Cache Size, whilst it stopped the rebooting, it completely nailed the performance of the VMs, and we decided to put up with the reboots once in a while.. I'm happy in the knowledge, that I'm unfamiliar with the ZFS ARC CACHE, but I have 20 years in IT, so not afraid.
Whilst typing this, the 8 core server just rebooted..
Can someone lend me some assistance in configuring the ARC Cache effieciantly, to balance performance with the HV's not rebooting?
