I upgraded my proxmox ve from 1.9 to 2.1. After the upgrade excisting containers are running fine, but I can´t create any new container after the upgrade:

File
/etc/pve/openvz/ve-vswap-256m.conf-sample not found: No such file or
directory
Fix the value of CONFIGFILE in /etc/vz/vz.conf
Creation of
container private area failed
TASK ERROR: command 'vzctl --skiplock create
100 --ostemplate /var/lib/vz/template/cache/centos-5-standard_5.2-1_i386.tar.gz
--private /var/lib/vz/private/100' failed: exit code 82

I could solve the problem by copying the .sample.conf files from /etc/vz/conf.old-1.9/ to /etc/pve/openvz/.

Do I need to use the command line to create a container with 'pvectl' or is it possible with the webinterface?

Why don't you use the suggested solution (pvectl)?

You can create containers on the web GUI.
