Hello,
We're trying to setup a Supermicro X11SSW-F with X520-DA2 10Gbps NIC on a RSC-W-68-P riser card.

But the card isn't detected, not even shown on lspci output.

The motherboard is based on a C236 chipset but it doesn't seems really well detected. lspci shows :

00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Device 5918 (rev 05)
Subsystem: Super Micro Computer Inc Device 089b
Flags: bus master, fast devsel, latency 0
Capabilities: [e0] Vendor Specific Information: Len=10 <?>
Kernel driver in use: ie31200_edac
Kernel modules: ie31200_edac

Kernel version is (at least) 4.15.18-10-pve, probably newer (I don't have full time access on the server).

C236 isn't really what I whould name a 'recent' chipset, dunno why it isn't perfectly detected.

Any clue ?

Thanks !
Julien

Sadly, the server is already installed in a datacenter. We could try with a stock Ubuntu kernel perhaps. Never tried this.
And of course, we don't have any IPMI access ...

Thanks for your answer, will try this tomorrow.
