Hello,

I know software raid is not official supported. But it works all time for me. But I had a new install with PVE 4.2 and now i have a little problem. Perhaps someone can help me.

I installed PVE 4.2 on the primary disk. After this, I copied partition table to the second disk, setup raid 1 with one disk (second as missing) and moved the lvm to the raid. After this i deleted lvm settings from the primary disk and added this to the raid.

On PVE 3 I had an /boot section in fstab and the above way works without any problems. But now there is no /boot section and if i reboot grub fails to start proxmox becaus it cannot finde lvm volume XYZ.

What could be the problem?

Greetings

Alex
