Hi

What is the best setup - performance wise?

6 x SSD 480GB Intel (ZFS Raidz2)

or

2 x 240GB SSD (ZFS raid1) - Proxmox VE Root
2 x 480GB SSD (ZFS raid1) - Probably for ZIL, etc.
2 x 4TB Enterprise SATA (ZFS) - VM Data

What do you think is best or you would choose and why for Web hosting server hosting KVM cPanel VMs?

I would prefer 6xSSD, but on two RaidZ. RaidZ2 With only 6 Disk... it's not a really good idea. You loose 3 Disks!
Setup two RaidZ like Raid50. Then you can also easy upgrade to more disks. When you would like to upgrade, add another 3 disks in RaidZ.

With your configuration, when you like to upgrade you must add another 6 SSDs to your raidz2.
Another configuration. If you have an Raid10 with 4 Disks, and you would like to upgrade, add always to disks to your raid10 Pool.
