I keep getting at 3am everyday this email about a drive that had a SMART issue. I replaced the drive (disk_08) and the emails just keep coming.
How do i get rid of the emails?

Subject: SMART error (FailedReadSmartErrorLog) detected on host: proxmox4
This message was generated by the smartd daemon running on:

host name: proxmox4
DNS domain: xxxxxxxxx

The following warning/error was logged by the smartd daemon:

Device: /dev/bus/0 [megaraid_disk_08] [SAT], Read SMART Error Log Failed

Device info:
Micron_P400e-MTFDDAK100MAR, S/N:14150C14D4CB, WWN:5-00a075-10c14d4cb, FW:0157, 100 GB

For details see host's SYSLOG.

Haven't directly experienced this myself (and have no hw-raid-controller which seems to be the case for you) - but I would check the smartd -config
(/etc/smartd.conf, /etc/smartmontools/) - and maybe the following thread might be helpful as well:
https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/smart-error.30847/

I hope this helps!
