hello,

after the latest kernel update there was also a new linux-image-amd64.

Now (I did not restart the node for loading new proxmox kernel yet) apt suggest me the new linux image and at the same time wants to uninstall proxmox completely (see screenshot).

The last time I said yes and had to reinstall everything.

Now the question(s): What to do and how to prevent this in the future?

Proxmox was installed on top of a fresh debian stretch.

Regards,

Afox

I think you should use the kernel provided with proxmox, package pve-kernel-xxx

try.

> apt remove linux-image-amd64

thank you. now it doesn´t want to remove proxmox anymore. it still suggests me "linux-libc-dev". I guess it is save to update this?

Edit: I just did it. Without any issues until now.
