Hello fellow PM users!

I just installed a new server directly from a PM2.3 ISO disk and all seems fine but there are some normal additional packages I like to add that I seem to be having issues with. Some of them are: vim, pbzip2, tree and others.

Here is an example of the issue:

root@pmx-b03:/var/log# apt-get update && apt-get install pbzip2

I checked my sources.list and it looks the same as other 2.3 installs that are working:

root@pmx-b03:/var/log# cat /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian squeeze main contrib

# PVE packages provided by proxmox.com
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian squeeze pve

# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org/ squeeze/updates main contrib

Any ideas?

Thanks,

-Glen
