Looking to add other LVM's besides "pve" that will be used to run virtual machines instead of the default. do I just create a new lvm and add it to the mapper? Actually I did not notice can click on the RED ARROW BUTTON in a few of the web menus. I see add LVM Group now

My main goal is for internally inside my server box adding drives sdb and sdc as 2 different LVM's to run their own resource intensive VM's (1 per drive)

Hi,
you must create the volume groups on the console. After that, you can add them via gui in the storage-menu. Don't select shared, if the storage is only local. Shared is for storage, which are visible to all cluster-nodes (SAN (iscsi,FC), nfs, drbd).
