Ability to group hosts

While upgrading proxmox to research some problems (discussed elsewhere on here), at one point we had five proxmox clusters going due to various combinations of CPU type and Proxmox version. This makes it really tough to find a particular VM. Even at the best of times we have two production clusters (one for Nehalem, one for Haswell).

Although I know we can't mix Proxmox major versions, it would be nice to be able to have host groups in the UI so we could group hosts by CPU type & speed. That would let us find and manage all production VM's from one interface, live migrate VMs within the group so the CPU type stays the same, easily move VM's to a new group (offline) as we phase out old CPUs and add newer models, etc.

(We have tried one cluster in the past, but with enough hosts and VMs it is a lot to ask of admins for them to remember which hosts are identical for live migration purposes, etc.)

Is this a feature that might possibly appear in a future version?

Thanks!
