Thanks for the response!
I have 4 NICS on my Proxmox server:
- One is attached to a Linux Bridge and is reserved for the management console
- Two are in a Linux Bond, which is then used by a Linux Bridge for use by VMs in my LAN (ie. 192.168.0.0/24)
- One is leftover to create a Linux Bridge on...
I doubt I'm the only person trying to do this. What's the easiest solution to have VMs on the same proxmox host be on separate networks (ie. they can't talk to each other), but share a connection to the internet?
I currently have my proxmox server set up with multiple VMs all under the same...
I guess the other question is how do I go about fixing this? I can't mount the disk image on OpenMediaVault or it freezes with the "io error" problem, so I don't know how else to remove files to decrease the usage.
Could I possibly change to a more aggressive compression or something to give...
It doesn't look like I'm using any space for snapshots: usedbysnapshots 0B
On my single volume (my disk I provisioned for OpenMediaVault), I see some interesting values:
D2700/vm-100-disk-0 used 10.6T
D2700/vm-100-disk-0 available 3.46M
D2700/vm-100-disk-0...
It's strange to me that it's now showing errors after a month of usage. I wasn't allocating any more storage since I provisioned the initial drive for my OpenMediaVault VM. What's allocating more space such that it's now having issues?
I recently started seeing a "io error" status on my OpenMediaVault VM within Proxmox. OpenMediaVault VM has ZFS drive attached to it (via Proxmox) that it exposes as a network drive. When I detach the ZFS drive from OpenMediaVault VM, OpenMediaVault runs fine, which leads me to believe that the...
I ended up re-installing Proxmox on a spare SD card and tried to install a ubuntu server VM on that. When that failed to get an IP, that led me to check my external network hardware which I reset. Resetting the network hardware seems to have solved the issue.
Hello,
Proxmox newbie here. I was previously running three VMs in proxmox, all Ubuntu Server. I stopped my server to reconfigure a hardware raid drive, then started Proxmox again. Everything was fine; Proxmox was able to recognize the new disk, and I was able to add it as LVM storage and attach...
