Good morning, oguz
Sorry I have to do it this way. Local access only since network is down.
pveversion -v
cat /etc/network/interfaces
ethtools -i $(INTERFACE) returns "command not found"
ip link show
Hello, I think I may be having the same problem as you. I see "Could not generate persistent MAC address" error in my journalctl output as well.
How did you alternate the IP? Did you just edit /etc/network/interfaces back and forth? I'm unable to access the GUI.
Hello Proxmox Team,
My server just stopped connecting to the network today for some reason. No restarts or anything until I discovered it wasn't connected and thought a reboot would do it.
I can't ping my gateway, any other computer on the network or anything outside. Status lights on the...
Proxmox noob here.
I currently have Proxmox booting off a 120GB SSD which is also where my VM boot disks are as well. I've got a 10TB SnapRAID/mergerFS array serving media and a couple of 500GB SSDs...not really doing anything.
What's the best practices for the bare metal boot drive and the...
Would it be a good idea to use a ZFS mirror as a Proxmox boot drive to protect against drive failure?
Can I add an identical SSD now after the fact to mirror my boot drive? Or should I just make regular backups of my boot drive and restore it to a new drive in the event of failure?
I guess it...
Journal...the errors I listed above. It won't let me post a message that long.
Can you post a generic, default fstab for me, please? I think I deleted something useful.
What am I looking for in dmesg and journal?

Proxmox is running off a brand new 120GB Kingston A400 SSD.
I run dual E5-2650v2 with 64GB RAM. I had just made a Ubuntu 16.04 CT with 8 cores and 16GB RAM with a 32GB share of local-lvm (which was entirely empty).
I'm a Proxmox noob so if I'm doing something completely stupid, I appreciate...

Oh right, I set up Plex on Ubuntu 16.04 and it was working before I rebooted. I had added a bind mount to my MergerFS /storage/ folder to my Plex LXC.
Did that mess it up?

After a reboot, I can't connect to the web GUI anymore. It's running and I can ping the system but I always can't establish a connection.
I'm getting weird errors saying that pve cluster hasn't started and a bunch of other services like Samba have failed to start. The error I'm getting says a...
