There are many problems detecting Wifi cards with the 6.2 kernel. Realtek Wifi card for me, I had to go back to kernel 6.1

LMDE 6 is not planned for now. I have an equivalent problem on a ryzen 6900HX, I had to go through the Xanmod kernel. If the problem persists, you will have to wait for Proxmox 8 under debian 12 and switch to an XFCE or other graphical interface. Hope this helps you.

Personally, I am waiting for the LMDE5 version before performing the migration. I cannot answer the question about the upgrade. Every new proxmox update I back up all of them and reinstall them from scratch.
