    I have PVE on software raid 5 with 4 hdd and its performance is very good. May be you cpu is too slow for software raid6?

    Just remove this hdd on Hardware tab. Your hdd will remain there as Unconnected. Click on it and connect as IDE. Or you can manually edit host config file in /etc/pve/qemu-server

    May be this is some pmxcfs issue, see syslog messages about corosync and so on. https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Proxmox_Cluster_file_system_(pmxcfs) Try to enable debugging, if no errors.

    I have this problem, when remove A-records for nodes from our dns server. Solution was - making an entry for every node in /etc/hosts. Or configure your dns. Then reboot problem node
