Hi,
I'm currently running 2 standalone Proxmox 6 nodes and I want them to be part of the same cluster.
Containers' IDs are not overlapping from one node to the other.
Is there a way to create a cluster with those two nodes without dump->transfer->import every container?

Hi,
Short story:
I have 2 different versions of corosync configuration on my cluster and now "pvecm status" gives me this ugly error:
"Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/CLI/pvecm.pm line 479, <DATA> line 755."
My cluster is totally broken.
Long story:

Hi,
I have an LXC container that has a big storage defined in the web UI ("900G") but the filesystem seems not to have taken the last resizes commands into account.
Here is the current state of the storage:
On the container:

Hi everyone,
My Proxmox 6 Cluster is in a bad state.
I wanted to add RAM to one of my containers (on which some processes were killed by OOM Killer) using the GUI and it displayed this error:
A day after this issue, the cluster was in a very strange state:
The quorum is OK (maximum votes)...
Hi everyone,
I'm currently struggling with a blocking issue.
I'm running proxmox 6 (proxmox-ve: 6.1-2 / kernel 5.3.10-1-pve) and created a container running Debian Buster from the latest standard template on pveam (debian-10.0-standard_10.0-1_amd64.tar.gz).
The problem is that some services...
Hi everyone,
My Proxmox 5 LXC containers are running syslog-ng on Debian 9 (stretch) and I found that syslog-ng defines /dev/tty10 by default as a log device.
Ths problem is that /dev/tty10 doens't exists on containers created from the official Debian 9 template, leading syslog-ng to create a...

Hi everyone,
Proxmox allow local RAM/disk overallocation (infinite "virtual" allocation whereas physical host has finite ressources) which is a great tool to optimize use of ressources. But overallocation can be tricky as it represent a risk for the global host (Out Of Memory, No space left on...
Hi,
I'm trying to cold-migrate an LXC container from a host to another.
The LXC I want to migrate is located on a "local-zfs" pool created on the first node and enabled on every cluster node.
Here is the migration log:
2018-08-31 10:12:54 starting migration of CT 162 to node...
After some GUI or CLI operations on containers (move volume to another storage for example), it happens that the hole node goes "crazy". The GUI shows every container with a grey question mark on it and no name associated and every command on containers doesn't work at all until I reboot the...
Hi everyone,
I have a proxmox 4 cluster using local disks as storage (type = directory) and I'm currently testing ZFS pools on my futur cluster (proxmox 5).
On my old cluster (storage type = directory), I can cold-migrate LXC containers from a proxmox host to another because every host has a...
Hi everyone,
Short question: What is the best way to share files between several LXC containers?
I have a Proxmox 4 cluster and a Proxmox5 (ZFS storage) cluster.
In both of them, I would like to create a shared filesystem (NFS, ZFS or whatever...) and mount it into several LXC containers in...
Hello,
I recently removed a node from my Proxmox 4 cluster.
Now, I'm having toubles trying to create containers reusing ID that already existed in the recently removed node ("proxmox-07'").

Hello everyone,
Here is my issue:
localectl fails with "Could not get properties: Connection timed out" on a container running Debian 9 Stretch LXC template hosted on Proxmox 4 (Debian 8 Jessie).

Hi,
I'm using Proxmox for a year now in a production environment, making things over a Proxmox 4 cluster of 6 physical machines and running more than 60 LXC containers day after day. And you know what? It works as well as it could be!
First, I want to thank you for all the good developments...
Hi,
I'm running Proxmox 4 and would like to set cpu limit to 0 for all my guests in order to let guests use all physical CPU cores.
But, when I go to the web interface, select a VM, go to Ressources > CPU Limit, set CPU Limit to 0 and then apply, I obtain this error message:

Hi,

Hi,
I recently installed Proxmox 4 on a dedicated OVH server and then created a container like this:
pct create 200 /var/lib/vz/template/cache/debian-8.0-standard_8.4-1_amd64.tar.gz
-rootfs 25
-hostname myhost.mydomain.com
-memory 1024

Hi,
I created a new virtual machine (myvm1.mydomain.com) on a new physical proxmox 4 host (myhost.mydomain.com).
As I have a wildcard certificate for my domain (*.mydomain.com), I replaced /etc/pve/local/pve-ssl.pem with my wildcard certificate.
I then tried to start a VM and got this error...
