Just wanted to update.....
I got this working using the two NIC's ... and NOT defining the MAC address for the AxpBox!
Getting ssh to work into the AxpBox is a bit tricky, but can be done using the following settings in "$HOME/.ssh/config" ...
Host openvms
hostname 192.168.x.xx...

Anyone had any luck in getting the network working for AxpBox ??
The box is running like a charm... just cannot get the inbound connections running !

so now I have gotten the the Virtio SCSI Controller installed and changed the disks to use the Virtio driver...
had to delete all remnants of faulty installations before, and then install the latest version (118) and all good...
The SCSI Passthrough SCSI Controller still shows an...

I have downloaded the file once again.. installed again... same problem.....
This is Windows 7 Ultimate ... the Ethernet part works fine! Balloon I have installed without any hiccups(have not implemented yet!) ...
so.. any other ideas would be really appreciated ...
Faulty ISO files ?? could be...honestly have not checked.. but two different versions and the same error ??
which.. i must say... made me believe that it could not be the downloads from Fedora that had an error
Besides .. the Virtio network driver from the same ISO file works like a charm...

I have an Windows 7 guest, and would like to install the PV drivers.... but I get an error code 10 during the install of either:
virtio-win-0.1.118.iso
virtio-win-0.1.102.iso
I am getting a Code 10 when tring to install this on Windows 7 Ultimate ....
Which means no fast disk-access...
it's the Turnkey Linux builtin firewall ...
after defining a new rule(for port 514) via the Webmin interface i get a connection.... :-)

have setup the rsyslog.conf to accept all from other servers, firewalls etc etc ..and it works locally... but when trying to access the 514 port from other servers I get a connection refused ....
and i suppose I have to add a line in the lxc.conf for that container.. but have been unable...

I have a problem with nfs...
Initially I thought this was a BSD/Linux issue... but have now dumped FreeNAS and setup a Proxmox/Debian guest with a nfs-server(even tried a plain Centos install also....) and I get consistently a "mount.nfs: Protocol not supported" ....
I want to use NFS...
