    Comparing Incremental Backups

Is there a way to compare what changed between PBS incremental backups? I'd like to see what's changing in a Proxmox VE snapshot backup. Thanks!

[SOLVED] Optimal Disk Layout to avoid troubles with Storage Migration

Help! :) I have four servers with 3x drive bays and have them populated with either 2x Samsung SM863 or 2x Intel S3610. The drives are set up as a ZFS mirrored vdev with both ROOT and data being on the pair. One bay is open on each server. Normally I/O load on each server is low - iowait is...

Poll: Ceph vs NAS (NFS) vs ZFS over iSCSI for VM Storage

Question for the hive mind. I have 6x 960GB Samsung SSD (853t & pm963) drives 'left over' from an upgrade to bigger drives, and wish to use them for shared storage of fairly low I/O virtual machines. 1) All 6 Drives on NFS share from a FreeNAS (or similar dedicated server) with 96GB RAM + 2x...

[SOLVED] Anyone already using "IO Thread" and PVE-Zsync?

Hey all, Has anyone been using pve-zsync with "IO Thread" on a VirtIO SCSI drive successfully? Any thoughts or feedback before I try it? This would seem to have the best of all worlds - minimally impactful backups + higher performing I/O. Thanks!

[SOLVED] Brocade 1020 on PX4.1 host + VirtIO net on guest == TX Checksum Badness

Howdy all, I recently upgraded my Proxmox 3.4 install to 4.1 and since the upgrade, I can't use the VirtIO network driver on Linux clients. (We don't run Windows, so I can't test.) The setup is fairly basic, a Quanta LB4M switch with 2x 10G SFP+ ports, two servers each with a Brocade 1020 CNA...
