Mikrotik RouterOS machines is handling a 500/500 fibre connection.
The Antix machine is only doing light stuff, but nonetheless it used to crash/lockup before I did the kernel and microcode update.
Just an update.
I'm still running 5.19.7-1-pve kernel with updated microcode for n5105.
Never had any issues with LXC machines.
Qemu-KVM machines:
Mikrotik RouterOS v6.48.6: 26 days uptime. No issues.
Mikrotik RouterOS v7.6rc1: 19 days uptime. No issues.
Antix Linux, kernel 5.10.57: 19 days...
Hi.
This is running CHR 6.48.6 (long term). I'm running the latest official 5.19.7 kernel and latest microkernel (0x24000023).
But from memory this CHR version was stable even before I did any changes (5.15 kernel).
I'll boot ut a new RouterOs CHR version 7, and report back. I'll also try...
I had problems with Ubuntu VM on a N5105. Changed to a Slitaz Linux distro and no longer any problems. Uptime of 1 month. I'm also running a Mikrotik RouterOS as a VM. No problems with that one either.
This works really well on my N5105. No problems encountered and hardware transcoding is now working as it should using Quicksync in lowpower mode (Guc/huc) with Jellyfin in a LXC container.
Turned out it was a SATA cable failure. Strange thing is that I didn't touch or move the machine the last year...
Had a lot of ATA errors when I hooked a monitor to it and had a look. Had to run a xfs_repair -L (forced), but luckily everything seems OK now.
Stange, very strange for a cable to...
Hi.
No, the server was shut down normaly after the update and started having issues when it rebooted afterwards.
FSCK did not help and everything looks to be mounted correctly.
Had a look in the logs and looks like there is Metadata corruption detected. I probably need to try and run XFS_repair.
I'm getting a error message on all my containers after an upgrade to 6.4-5 from 6.3.x something.
"TASK ERROR: mkdir /var/lib/lxc: Structure needs cleaning at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/LXC.pm line 734."
None of my CT's will start because of this.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Hi.
I've been using BTRFS and Ext4 file system on my shared folders for some time and recently changed it all to ZFS.
Now I'm having problems with permissions on mount points in my unprivileged containers not working. With BTRFS and Ext4 as the underlying file system I could just do a "chmod...
I might be missing something essential, but here goes...
I've added the correct repository, but have not seen any updates for Proxmox 5.0 beta yet.
I've also seen some comments in the forum threads that some bugs should already have been ironed out and fixed.
How often do you expect/plan to...
Working great but it is not autostarting my VM's even if set to "start at boot=yes" and in any order.
Also it seems it just hard stops the VM's (server reboots in 2sec) when restaring og shutting down Proxmox server.
