CentOS 6.4 KVM guest doesn't accept any keyboard input on console

I'm having a strange problem. One of my centos 6.4 KVM guests, which is otherwise working fine, doesn't accept any keyboard input on the proxmox console. My other centos 6.4 KVM guests are working fine. The tty.conf seems to be identical in all cases. Any ideas of things to try to correct this?

Nightly backup causes KVM to die, requiring qm unlock to restart

Some nights when our backups run, one of the HA KVMs will die, and to make things worse it isn't brought up on the other node. Here's an example: 109: Jun 23 05:20:42 INFO: Starting Backup of VM 109 (qemu) 109: Jun 23 05:20:42 INFO: status = running 109: Jun 23 05:20:44 INFO: backup...

Possible to obscure cluster CPU/memory statistics from PVEVMUser?

When PVEVMUser logs into the web interface, they are able to see higher level information we would prefer them not be aware of: the overall CPU and memory utilization of the servers in the cluster. We would just prefer they not be aware of any specifics beyond their KVM. Is there a way to...

Best practices for containers and drbd

Is there a "best solution" for drbd volumes paired with containers, to enable online migration? Long term I would be converting to shared storage, but for now drbd makes more sense. I've tried GFS, but ran into issues with live migration. I'm starting to suspect that in a drbd environment...

    Admin please fix this thread

I'm trying to determine the best way to benchmark the I/O of my proxmox servers, because let's face it...I/O is the bottleneck until you can justify the move to a real iscsi implementation with racks of spindles at your disposal. I have two servers that are doing drbd, RAID 10 with 3.6 TB...

New cluster hardware details, suggestions for edits to the wiki

We're in the process of setting up a Proxmox cluster, and I wanted to share my thoughts about the hardware we chose, and suggest a few improvements to the wiki. For our cluster, in the short term, we've decided to do three nodes, with one of those being a simple FreeNAS quorum and backup...
