Recently I have a strange behavior with backup mail notificactions, here is the log:
INFO: starting new backup job: vzdump 101 --quiet 1 --mailto myuser@mydomain --mode snapshot --compress gzip --storage backups
INFO: Starting Backup of VM 101 (openvz)
INFO: CTID 101 exist mounted running

Yes I do. The syslog file grows with the same lines just changing the address of the trace.
It is temporarily resolved by rebooting the system, the console is unresponsible.
I'm also getting this message: 'AMI BIOS detected: BIOS may corrupt low RAM, working around it.'
So I'm suspecting the...
Recently I'm having issues with a machine that never had any problems at all, the system hangs showing the log bellow. Right now there are no containers nor KVMs. I reinstalled/updated Proxmox VE about three times but the problem is constant. I post my pveversion and the syslog fragment. Best...
Right now I'm using bridge networking in Proxmox VE node and it's CTs. I would like to change to venet. This is what I did:
1. Removed every bridge in Proxmox VE node
2. Set up the Proxmox VE node network as normal, no bridge at all
3. Removed the bridge in one of my CTs for testing purposes
4...
I have a two node Proxmox VE (2.2-26/c1614c8c) cluster, recently I'm receiving this message from one of two nodes: NOHZ: local_softirq_pending 100.
That node has a Core i3 CPU and a RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller. As far as I know, there is no malfunction at all, but I'm...
Reviewing this Wiki entry: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Translations I noticed a few errors
Isn't the correct path "/usr/share/pve-manager/root intead" instead of "/var/share/pve-manager/root"?
Best regards
You're right, I rebooted the system, then I got 2.6.32-16, I will notify when programmed backup take effect. I didn't reboot the system avoiding downtime.
Thanks for the quick answers.
Best regards
After updating Proxmox VE to 2.2 and making a cluster with two nodes I have been getting backup errors. This is a log fragment:
102: Nov 02 10:32:20 INFO: gzip: stdout: Input/output error 102: Nov 02 10:32:20 INFO: Total bytes written: 231731200 (221MiB, ?/s) 102: Nov 02 10:32:20 INFO: tar...
So, reading this: http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/OpenVZ_Console
Maybe it's a typo, in the Debian section there are two methods to get console working properly, but shouldn't be
"1:2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1" instead of ":2345:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty1"?
I'm using console without...
I updated Proxmox to 2.2-26/c1614c8c, no issues, but I can't see InitLog tab at Web administration. I read the changelog and there is nothing related.
Thank you all, best regards.
I'm using Proxmox 2 (right now 2.1-14/f32f3f46) for about 7 months and since then I'm getting this error message at InitLog in one of my openVZ machines that uses quota:
I realize that quota is working properly, so I don't know why I get this message, I searched in this forum and others but no...
When I start any of my CTs (Debian virtual appliances) I get "stty: standard input: Invalid argument" at InitLog page, there's nothing wrong with the machines, but it it an issue anyways, I would like to know if this affects the CTs and how can I fix it.
Best regards
