I have a firewall problem with my server.
Host Node and all other Containers/VM are located on a Class C Network.
All VM and Containers have a default Output Policy set to REJECT and only have designated addresses they are allowed to connect to.
My problem is now that all rules are working...

I have got the problem that I am making a KVM snapshot that should be approx. 5 GB, but it turns out to be 35 GB.
My KVM has two HDs (RAW) allocated of which only one should be backuped (this is working as expected). On this drive (vda1) I only use about 4 GB.
df -h (on KVM)...
So I changed my setup the following way and it works perfect!
/dev/sdX1 --> Luks mapper /dev/mapper/encrypted --> /LVM /dev/mapper/pve-data
Therefore the LVM does not know that it is located on an encrypted volume and works exactly the same as with an ordinary hd partition.
Snapshots etc...

I am trying to make a vzdump on a Luks encrypted drive and I always get the
INFO: mode failure - unable to detect lvm volume group
INFO: trying 'suspend' mode instead
failure message.
I am not 100% sure whether it is actually possible to make a snapshot on an encrypted drive but so...
