Hello,
I'm working on a single proxmox node (5.2-7) and I want to create setup consisting of multiple VMs belonging to different internal subnets. Idea is to have access to all of them from single VM, but to be able to manage access between them (via firewall). I don't want all VMs to be in...
It's just loading. I can resolve it, but doesn't work in browser. I asked some friends to try and it works for them. I guess it's some routing problems with my provider...
Hi!
I have 2 cluster nodes.
I want to try ProxmoxVE 2.0 so I want to migrate 2 machines from node 1 to another 1.8 host, node 2, install 2.0 on node 1 and migrate those 2 virt machines back to node 1 with freshly installed ProxmoxVE 2.0. Will it work that way?
I'm trying to secure my host machine as much as I can, so I'm configuring iptables to restrict access to ssh, https and vnc ports only to few trusted addresses. Everything else is blocked. Next thing is to allow trafic to virtual machines. How can I do that? Don't have much expirience with...
Yes, it looks much more simpler, but this is production server and beta software doesn't sounds as a good idea.
This is unconfigured.sh script:
#!/bin/bash
trap "err_reboot" ERR
parse_cmdline() {
root=
proxdebug=0
for par in $(cat /proc/cmdline); do
case $par in...
I used this method and it works, but how can I set maxroot and swapsize this way? Executing unconfigured.sh gives me GUI installer without posibility to enter
linux maxroot=20 swapsize=10
Can I put that line somewhere in that script?
Are you suggesting that I should add this LUN to host machine (as /dev/sdxx), make file system on it and than mount it inside VM as ide, scsi or virtio disk?
Will it be possibe to migrate this machine?
BTW, thanks for your help!
Hi!
We have NetApp storage and 5 servers connected by FC. We are planning to use Proxmox on them, and to use NetApp for VM images, backups and iso images and all of that is possible in new beta Proxmox VE. Is it possible to use this storage for data used by services on VMs? Storage is visible...
Re: How to access physical hdd from fully virtualized machine (solved)
Hi!
I'm wondering when the Proxmox 2.0 will come out. Any time soon? Storage features (FC and iSCSI) are essential for our decision to use it in production enviroment.
